Too many levels of symbolic links

Hi all,

I just upgraded my Panther server to Leopard server a few days ago and I'm trying to use SuperDuper! to clone my server boot volume to an secondary internal HD which I've been doing with my Panther server before. While copying files from my main HD, SD reported that in my /Network/Library directory, there were "too many levels of symbolic links" and it couldn't continue copying files. I tried using the command line interface and found out that I couldn't even cd or rm the Library directory. Anyone can shed some light?

Are you using "Smart Update", cyberdog?

Nope, I was doing a full erase and backup. I think it has to do with something in the /Network/Library/ directory pointing back at itself but I can't even delete the Library directory, it's giving me the same "too many levels of symbolic links" error.

OK. Create a copy script (see the User's guide) that include "Backup - all files" and then excludes Network/*, then use that to do the copy.
