Unable to recover from Clone
I don't know what's going on here - this is something I have done many times before with no issues. But now when I need it, it's broken!
I am running 10.6.1 and back up to an external firewire drive. I've now replaced the HDD in my Mac and want to clone back. I am booted from my external drive, everything works OK and I can see the "Macintosh HD" in the Finder. However when I try to clone back I get an error: Failed to enable ownership on Clone The log: | 02:10:13 PM | Info | SuperDuper!, 2.6.1 (86), path: /Applications/SuperDuper!.app, Mac OS 10.6.1 build 10B504 (i386) | 02:10:13 PM | Info | Started on Mon, Sep 28, 2009 at 2:10 PM | 02:10:13 PM | Info | Source Volume: Clone, mount: /, device: /dev/disk1s3, media: WD My Book, interconnect: External FireWire, file system: "Journaled HFS+", OS: 10.6.1 (10B504), capacity: 300.77 GB, used: 213.11 GB, directories: 122842, files: 491784, ejectable: YES, ACLs: Enabled | 02:10:13 PM | Info | Target Volume: Macintosh HD, mount: /Volumes/Macintosh HD, device: /dev/disk0s2, media: ST9320421AS, interconnect: Internal SATA, file system: "Journaled HFS+", OS: 10.6.1 (10B504), capacity: 297.77 GB, used: 7.59 GB, directories: 87123, files: 282598, ejectable: NO, ACLs: Enabled | 02:10:13 PM | Info | Copy Mode : Erase, then copy files | 02:10:13 PM | Info | Copy Script : Backup - all files.dset | 02:10:13 PM | Info | Transcript : BuildTranscript.plist | 02:10:13 PM | Info | PHASE: 1.
