How do I show iTunes' preferences on the remote server?
Although you can't access the menu bar for the remote copy of iTunes, you can use keyboard shortcuts to access most of the menu commands.
Normally, Cmd-, brings up Preferences but -- if you try it -- it brings up netTunes' own preferences! Fortunately, there's a solution. There's a hidden shortcut in iTunes -- Cmd-y -- that also works. So, click on the remote iTunes window and press Cmd-y, and the remote iTunes' preferences will open. You can interact with it normally from there.
