Sleep -> wakeup -> backup doesn't launch
This is odd, SuperDuper 2.1/77: my 0205 backups appear not to start. But I just tested the same sequence with eyeballs on the screen and all works perfectly.
1. I set an Energy Saver wakeup for 0200am. 2. Set sched backup for 0205am. 3. Check log the next day, it shows an old manual backup log. My test was just to repeat same sequence by editing the scheduled backup to 1620, with wakeup set for 1615. Perfecto. The target drive is a mounted Firewire drive. Any suggestions mucho appreciated! PS - really appreciate SuperDuper. You've done a fine example of a well-designed and executed application. Is this a Cocoa app? |

I'd suggest setting your backup time for a single minute past the wake time. I think that's likely to work for you.
Glad you're enjoying SD: it is a Cocoa app, but really, good apps can be written in Carbon, too...
