Problem with wireless Backup to G4
Hi there,
I have used superduper very effectively to back up to FW drives connected to my computer. I now want to use an old G4 which I've got on a wireless network, and I've installed a 750GB drive for this purpose (which is working fine). It's set up as it should be. But whichever setting I use, I never get anywhere. Currently I'm trying "Copy newer..." and SD gets through the 4 "prepare to copy" stages, but when it tries to start "copy files" it seems to hang. It says it's "copying files" but no MB have actually been copied, and the copy speed is 0.00MB/sec. I've been waiting over 15 minutes now, but nothing. Any thoughts? Thanks |
