Question Can’t Quit SuperDuper

I searched the forum and haven’t found an answer.

After running a successful Smart Update, I can’t quit SuperDuper. My only option is to Force Quit it. I am using 2.6.2 (v87).

Interestingly, if I quit before running Smart Update, it will quit fine.

Thanks.

Does this happen with a scheduled backup that fires when a drive isn't attached?

Dave

It does for me (happen) in just the scenario you describe. Have been meaning to ask about this, but it's infrequent in my usage and with ForceQuit, not really a problem. But since it's been brought up ????

It's a known issue in that configuration and those conditions. Cmd+s should allow quit to work.

Cmd+s it shall be next time it occurs, and thanks. As I'd said, didn't really feel worth raising on its own, but since it was here.

You're up late tonight!

It’s amazing to me that this problem has still not been fixed. After four years!

This one has ben reproduced. There's an easy workaround and it's been on the list. Yes, for a while, but we have to prioritize things...
