cloning old mac onto new
I was wondering what the easiest way to make a clone of my current mac (running 10.4.9) to a new Imac (I assume running the same system). I have programs on the current machine that I don't have the discs for any longer and I want to make sure they are on my new machine. I make a bootable clone of my hard drive almost nightly. How do I copy the old computer onto the new one? Is there a simple way to restore the old to the new?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Ayak |

Use the Migration Assistant, Ayak, which will appear when you first start up the new iMac.
