firewire 400 of WD Pro 500gb OK ??

I was about to start the SD first time back up and while I intend to use the firewire 400 your manual does not list Western Digital as being tested.
Any reason for me to be concerned ?

I have a PowerBook G4 and its an other one that only has Firewire 400.

Although we haven't tested with it, other users have indicated success with the WD MyBook Pro drives. You should be fine.
