Cloning MacBook Air Recovery USB stick?
The MacBook Air's recovery USB stick is really neat. It's not available for resale, so if I lose it I won't presumably be able to buy a replacement.
Has anyone successfully cloned this little marvel? I tried to do this using <cough> another cloning utility. Everything looked good: the machine recognized it (holding down the option key during boot), started booting from it, but the machine ended up booting from the internal disk. I'm trying my licensed copy of the tried-and-true SuperDuper! next, but wanted to see if anyone else's been able to successfully clone this recovery stick. |
