Cheers, Dave.
It would appear, however, that I've completely misunderstood how to set up a script to copy just those very specific folders. I thought all I had to do was create a new Script, then in Script Commands add just the folders I wanted to copy. In the main menu I would then select Copy Macintosh HD to Pictures Backup using 'Pictures Backup Script'. However, all that seems to have done is attempt to copy the Macintosh HD - and it's failed because the external drive is only around 139GB whereas my Mac is 750GB. So how do I make a rule that just copies those specific files, and how do I make it work in practice? Cheers! |
