Well seems like a small step in the right direction. Did the disk repair from a boot to the system CD and this time no panic. However SuperDuper did quit with this message:

Any ideas? To my untrained eye it appears to be something with Keynote which is a copy I have not even opened yet (at least not started the trial phase.)
