Thanks for your answer.
No, nothing else is attached to the FW port. My external HD is a 250 GB LaCie d2 with triple interface. When copying via the Finder, the transfer rate seems to be OK (a few seconds for a 450 MB iDVD project for example). I only seem to have this slowness problem when backing up my entire HD, whether via SuperDuper or Disk Utility. |
