Ignoramus
I think I screwed up sooooooo bad. I was going to repair Permission via my Leopard DVD. I ended up, by mistake, archiving and install leopard over again using up another 11GB. It got to one minute left and sat there for 45 min. I restarted via power button. I cannot get out of the Leopard DVD, when I try to reboot without it I get a gray screen with a tiny ?. I have an external HD with SuperDuper on it and an external with time machine on it. I do not know how to get to the HD, SD, or time Machine, it tells me if I restore with time Machine I will lose all my data on my HD. I do not have a clue where to go from here. Any suggestions other then just shoot myself????

Wow, that's a lot of compounded errors, cowtrail.
The first thing I'd try is another archive-and-install: perhaps, if you leave it alone it'll be able to get the install done and your data will be OK...

Another Archive and Install worked (I walked away from it and left it alone). Everything seems to be back to "normal".
Thank you |
