Cool Crashed during a clone, wondering if update will be identicle.

Hello everyone

Nice to be here, my first post!

I was cloning a drive, and during the process my iMac crashed, i was wondering since it is a 750GB if updating it will basically be like resuming and all my files will still be identical.

Can anyone verify this?

Cheers
Mike

I'm not quite sure I follow, but if you use Smart Update, and the drive is physically OK, it should resume...

2 days seems too long for 750GB. USB might be running slowly, or whatever crashed your system could be causing issues...

Drive has over 600GB, i thought it was normal, but resuming is fine i guess, it seems to be working.

It is, but that still seems slow. We'll see what happens.
