SD crashing while creating new script
I'm having a chronic issue with a spinning beach ball/"Application Not Responding" crash occurring while I'm setting up parameters for a new SD script. I'm running SD! 2.5 from my Applications folder, and I've had no trouble doing a variety of backups with scripts I've already created.
Any idea what might be causing this problem? My computer is a black 2.4 GHz MacBook with OS X 10.5.6. |

We're asking the system for the list of folders at the level you're at: this can take a while (with a time out) if some devices aren't responding as expected. How long have you waited?

So I think you've taken care of my problem. SD wasn't really "crashing"; I was simply being impatient because I was unaware how long the program sometimes takes to process what it's being asked to do. Now that I'm waiting for the spinning beach ball to disappear, I see that everything seems to be functioning correctly and normally. Thanks!

Glad you're all set, Hal.
