My First Nit
This may just be me, but hear me out.
1. Smart Update is perhaps the prime benefit of registering, right? 2. It's available only from a pulldown, right? This is OK, but... 3. When you start your backup, the screen looks exactly the same as a format/erase full backup. Yes, you get a popup. Yes, you can inspect the progress area to see how much time your saving (30-50MB/sec vs. 5 on m y iBook - nice!) but, 4. I still think you should put something up top to show that you're doing a Smart Backup rather than a full. Yours for clarity, Frank |

Hi, Frank. If you're doing a scheduled copy, the title bar of the window does indicate that you're doing a Smart Update, but you're entirely correct -- the Copy Files section of the Status view does not indicate this fact.
I'll see what I can do about this in the future: thanks for the suggestion.

I'll chime in and say it wouldn't hurt. Sometimes I'm doing the SU but onto a different drive. Most times in that case I get a twinge when I see that copy files. More than once I make sure and, of course, it's the SU option. Still ...
