Finder/Desktop Freeze after Auto-Launch
Hi,
I'm seeing the Desktop become unusable after SuperDuper auto-launches on multiple machines as well. The Dock location doesn't appear to be an issue as I've now seen the Desktop freeze after SD auto-launches on more than one machine with the Dock on the bottom. Manual backups to not freeze the Desktop -only backups which occur after SD has auto-launched. If a scheduled backup auto-launches and fails (due to the destination disk not being available), the Desktop is fine. Normal Finder and Dock functionality isn't affected. Just the icons on the Desktop are frozen. In all the cases I've seen, quitting and re-launching SuperDuper unsticks the Desktop. I've never had to force-quit the Finder. |
