Catching up with missed scheduled backups?
I have no experience yet how SD reacts if the backup drive is missing at scheduled backup time or the machine is shut down completely (is scheduling even possible in the free trial version?). But I presume it will fail in some way.
I couldn't find anything about whether - and if, how - it tries to make up for missed backups. IMHO it's a necessity that a backup solution tries to catch up with missed jobs as soon as possible. Is there anything like that provided in SD? If not, please consider this a feature request. At least there could be a message box pointing out the missed backup job. I write this especially as a laptop user that hasn't an external drive attached (or access to the home network) most of the time. |

We don't do this; thanks for the suggestion!
