Question Partitioning for 3 Macs

Greetings SD! users. I need partitioning advice. I have SD! v.2.5, 3 macs (Imac G4 and G5 and G4 ibook), and a virgin Seagate FreeAgent pro 750G FW drive. I just bought Leopard and will upgrade all 3 from Tiger. I would like to use this drive to make bootable backups for all three. It's default connection will be the iMac G4 and I'm thinking to rely on Time Machine for regular backups for the other 2. Any suggestions? Based on what I've read here, I'm thinking 6 partitions-one for SD! and one for Time Machine for each Mac. Is this advisable? Should the partitions be equal? Thanks, iphil
