Time Machine question
Does the Time Machine feature in Leopard back up with that deep level as a disk image, meaning, I wont lose disk authorizations? (when I restore)

You mean authorized apps? You'll need to re-authorize, I'm sure.
Complain to the companies that treat their customers this way! Authorization is a scourge...
