Though long time user, I just used v3.6.1 for first time on Big Sur. Copied 1TB internal SSD to new 1TB SSD drive. All went smoothly. Haven't tried booting from external yet but I just noticed something interesting.

There is a folder titled "Previous content" on the backup drive.

Since this is the first time using both SD 3.6.1 and the SSD, what is that folder about?

It's not our folder; rather, it's likely something that was created when you installed Big Sur.
