I really don't understand why you've moved this discussion to the forums, Chris. In general, it's pretty specific to your configuration and as such isn't terribly helpful here.

But, as I said, I think this has to do with the acomdata drive, which likely uses a non-Oxford chipset. The fact that Tiger didn't work on it, installed directly, backs that up...
