I'm still having an issue with this. My mac mini is set to never sleep and the screen is set to never sleep. There is a password to get back in from the screen saver which comes on after 5 mins and I have "unlocked" the pad lock in SD!. I've never had a successful scheduled backup.

In the past I did allow both the mac and the screen to sleep and was also unable to have SD! backup on a schedule.

Is it possible to have SD! scheduled to run while the screen is locked?

If you change things so that you don't have a password protected screen saver, and set the schedule to run a few minutes from 'now', does it work while you're watching?

Just tested and no, it does not. Even if the computer is just sitting idle with the screen unlocked it will not run scheduled. If I simply tell it to back up it works.

OK. Let's move to support email and we'll try some additional diagnostics.

Just to let everyone know, the resolution to my issue was to put SD! on the start up volume. Everything seems to be working now. Thanks!
