The exact same thing is happening to me -- SD hangs at the same point -- no progress is made and the hard drives spin down.
- Paid version of SD 2.0.1 (v76) - PowerBook G4 - Tiger - WiebeTech ToughTech FW800 external drive (2 partitions, both OS X Journaled), FW800 direct connection - Full erase/backup to dedicated partition
